hi!
i think everything that is of eletronic origin is against me. first, my laptop, now blogger is screwing me too. not that it's not a bad thing. i actually have an excuse not to blog.
it's a wednesday here and i've just finished my last class of the day, and my most detestable class too, philosophy. i'm stuck in the com lab trying to write an article for the newspaper and the words just don't seem to come out.
today was the first day back to school after fall break. the whole campus was empty for a good 4 days and then boom, everyone's back and there's a queue to get into the dining room and to climb the stairs, etc. many deadlines to meet. i had a test and a paper due today. i have a test next week. i have a test the following week. you get the picture. i have papers due constantly. i played tennis :) .
the people on my floor are fantastic. sometimes i catch myself thinking, gosh, i only have 3 years with them and then i'll miss them. and i've only known them for weeks.
canoe-a-thon is coming up this weekend. i managed to wrangle enough people to sponsor a total of $100 for me to go this fundraiser. i don't know how it'll turn out. canoeing for 20 miles doesn't seem like child's play to me. hoping to make some new friends and have a splendid time, but the weather forecast says: rain. and i also have a dinner at my advisor's house that same day. i hope i make it back in time so that i can meet the 9 other economics majors.
i got my first paycheck from the college :)
homecoming weekend is next week, some classes cancelled. so happy.
guys on my floor planning a trip to some spooky corn maze for halloween. looking forward to that but i'm scared i'll pee in my pants. they're really planning ahead. they've even got a list going for spring break. that's way ahead if you ask me.
i love the theatre class. we're watching 'into the woods' now. it's an award winning musical that fuses a few fairy tales and gives them a weird twist. cool.
so i hope you are doing well and i guess you guys have to e-mail me your e-mail addresses again cause i've lost them all when the comp crashed. g'nite.
