here's my take on the war: i don't support the war against iraq, neither do i condone it. i'm ambivalent about it. in some ways, i feel sad for the people of iraq who aren't radicals but are affected tremendously. but yet, the american's are right in a way to try to prevent a tragedy. it all boils down to the point that both the allies and the iraqis are hot headed. more the allied forces. but war is exciting. i hope the iraqis put on a good show. that was horribly distasteful.
there's this peace campaign going on in malaysia trying to collect a million signatures or something like that. i think it's a whole load of crap. it's just a vehicle for the muslims in the country to gather support for muslims abroad. i mean i do see eye to eye with them about the iraq war, but then the rope in the palestinian-israeli conflict, calling on the israeli government to stop pestering the palestinians. really, there are very blurred definitions on who the victim and the aggressor is . in this case, i think the israelis are the victims. think suicide bombs. think being surrounded by muslim nations, all training their weapons on this small but powerful nation. the israelis, the jews, they're God's chosen people.
