more updates froom the bizzare world of accounting:
i've made about gazillion boo boos since i started. well, the biggest one was yesterday. so after i had been briefed about how to send letters and couriers and where to put them for the despatch boys to collect them, i was given an assignment. send a letter to this guy at general electric. the address is in the database and i was supposed to go look for it myself. sounds easy right? wrong. well, i sent that letter no doubt. today, my senior received a call from general electric (subang airport) and asking her why the heck did she send the package there? so it turns out i was supposed to send the package directly to ge in connecticut, usa. and that package was super urgent. i am so dumb and i think they're really starting to tire of me. i mean, who else makes countless trips to the printer to print the same document cause all the previous attempts had errors in them.
oh and i regress, the accountants don't 'love' their jobs, but they don't hate it either. one or two of them really do love their jobs though. so after working for 4 days, i'm taking a no-pay leave tomorrow...imagine the humiliation i had when i walked in to the manager's office on my second day of work to ask for leave tomorrow.
