today was a pretty good day, for eating. had authentic dimsum for lunch and nasi lemak for dinner, yum. then went out with a friend at midnight to Bangsar but it was freaking crowded and we couldn't find a parking space, and by the time we did, Haagen Daz, the place we were headed to was closed. So tough luck.
Been surfing really hard to try look for universities in the US but they all seem pretty similar to me, especially the christian ones, but i have this strong feeling that i'll end up in a christian college, not that i don't want to. fees are cheaper, more scholarships and easier to get in, no need for all your tutors to write something about you and that kinda crap.
coming home was a really good decision. i'm really relaxed, i've sort of cleared some uni application stuff up with my dad, managed to chill at home with the tv and the computer, seriously i am deprived. my friend came to visit me this evening. it was really nice meeting him again and recalling fond memories, but i have come to accept the fact that times change, people change and situations change and it's up to you to make the best of any situation. i think i'm really happy with my life right now, must thank God for that.
watched austin powers yesterday. my bro said it sucked but i thought it was pretty funny but some puns were repeated so often they suffered overkill, esp ones referring to genitlia. the subtitles part was the funniest, i totally relate to that cause i'm always reading subtitles when watching chinese/cantonese movies. ahaha. and the credits in the first five minutes were smashing.
i wonder if anyone misses me back in singapore.
