trip to nantucket fell through at the very last moment. i'm not MIA, just not within reach of internet connectivity. job starts june-ish but i move to dc june 1st.

does anyone have a clue where my three friends and i could go for a vacation for cheap?

... is looking like the place i'll most likely be from june onwards. graduation/birthday was fun except i had to keep reminding myself that it was my birthday because graduation festivities always seemed to take precedence over everything else. we had one last breakfast at lottie nelson, hugs and kisses and photographs and talking more than eating. plans to meet in the summer. and then as suddenly as it approached us, it ended. family members demanding our individual attention heading off in different directions and then quiet. sushi lunches are truly the best.

off to nantucket in 5 days for a week then back to dc, hopefully with all the paperwork settled.

nearing the end

here i am in grantham, where the buzzwords are "excited" and "scared." instead of partying it up like any other normal undergrad, we sat in the living room last night, reading. "we're such nerds, huh? done with college yet we're still reading."

"i know. i just want to stop but i can't," says hannah.

"'tis a bad habit," i reply.

we are truly truly geeky, no two ways about that.

one last post till the end. i'm spiralling into an abyss that is more scary than exciting.
