today was a fantastic day cause i was off from work. and i spent all my earnings, of course i told myself the whole time that i was helping the malaysian economy, you know the term "spend your way out of a recession" and "thrift is bad during recession", yeah the whole multiplier process. so i got a denim jacket, faded jeans, a pair of ah beng 'designer' pants and a shirt, and all for a grand total of RM160. such a steal. i felt like a thief when i left isetan. i mean the pants were like RM 29. and they were really good material. and i'm off tomorrow too! whoppee.

okay you heard it here first:
pembroke college, oxford, says that "after careful consideration, we have decided that there is insufficient space for you" something like that. well sod off oxford, bloody gold diggers. not enough bad publicity is it? well, i hope you reject one of those rich shah's from iran too and watch your university crumble to pieces. no hard feelings of course.

okay thanks guys. feeling a bit better. work for the past three days have been hectic. we've been doing great business :). today, i helped sell a suit for RM2,388! and all i got for the days work is a paltry rm40. i know it sucks. but i hope my supervisor decides to give me commission too. can't wait to get back to singapore. right now, i'm waiting for my oxford reply cause i know that it's here, it's in the hostel's office, but the office is closed. so as soon as it opens, emil got one of the juniors to get my letter and open it and tell me whether i got in. really nervous. well update later.
